No, not in the way you mean
There is no evidence that ritual changes atmospheric conditions, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. We are not. Every working here is free.
The weather on your date will be whatever the weather on your date was always going to be. A rite is performed alongside it, not upon it.
So why do it at all?
Because waiting is unbearable and ceremony is old medicine for it. People have always marked the things they cannot control — with a candle, a knot, a walk around the field — and they have always felt steadier for it.
A petition gives shape to a worry. Someone else is holding the date with you. That is a real thing, even when the mechanism is entirely human.
Why we never guarantee anything
Promising weather would be a lie, and selling that promise would be worse. So the framing here never moves: the rite is the offering, the sky is its own business, and nothing is guaranteed.
That is also why there is no price. A free rite cannot be an unfulfilled sale.
What people actually get
A ceremony performed in their name. A month of nights when someone thought about their field, their marquee, their harvest. A small strange piece of the day to tell people about afterwards.
And if it rains? It rains. The rite still happened, and nothing was owed for it.
